AIMS Appointment
Addiction Information and Management Strategies (AIMS) has professional staff and peer representatives available to assist students who experience issues or have questions related to substance use or concerning behaviors. AIMS opens its doors to students who want to speak about any behavior that is concerning to them—this can include sex, gambling, gaming, etc.
AIMS uses a goal-oriented, evidence-based, harm-reduction approach. Students may also seek AIMS services for any concerns about a colleague, friend, or family member. Sessions are not clinical in nature—AIMS approaches the work through a psychoeducational lens.
Cost
Sessions are free of charge to students and available throughout the length of their program at CUIMC.
