Student Health Impact Partnership
Health and well-being are foundational to students' ability to thrive. At CUIMC, student well-being doesn’t happen in isolation—it’s shaped by the entire campus community. Through the Student Health Impact Partnership, we work collectively to challenge the status quo and make a meaningful impact.
The Student Health Impact Partnership (SHIP) is a collective, interprofessional initiative that brings together students, staff, and faculty at CUIMC in a structured way to achieve community-level and system-wide change.
SHIP:
- Addresses multi-layered student mental health and well-being concerns
- Pulls from the expertise of those working with Health Professions students and from students themselves
- Aligns with evidence-supported, data-informed best practices for well-being and health promotion in higher education
- Examines the structural determinants of CUIMC student health and well-being through an inclusive lens
- Uses a Collective Impact framework
